In the Kostroma Region, major renovations have been completed at seven medical facilities under the regional "Primary Healthcare Modernization" program for 2025.
According to the Territorial Office of Roszdravnadzor, the following have been fully renovated and commissioned:
- Department No. 3 of Polyclinic No. 1 of the Kostroma City Hospital,
- an outpatient clinic in the village of Bolshoy Dor (Buiskaya Central District Hospital),
- paramedic and obstetric stations in the villages of Muravyishche (Galichsky District), Vysokogo (Kologrivsky District), and Potrusovo (Parfenyevsky District), and
- first aid posts in the villages of Kletino and Luzhki (Nerekhta District).
Eighty-three units of modern medical equipment were purchased to equip these medical facilities. All purchases were inspected by the Territorial Office of Roszdravnadzor for compliance with equipment standards and technical requirements, and were also assessed for compliance with weighted average prices for specific types of medical devices.
Furthermore, a new ambulance was delivered to the Manturovskaya Central District Hospital, which is already actively used to provide medical care to the public.
Thus, the program not only updated the infrastructure but also improved the technical equipment of rural and district medical facilities, significantly improving the accessibility and quality of medical care in the region.
